Introduction to Herbs

  • Ehove Joint Vocational School 316 West Mason Road Milan, OH, 44846 United States (map)

This is the second in a series of courses for the beginning or intermediate herbalist. It is a four-week course held every Tuesday evening from February 24th until March 24th beginning at 6:30pm. This is your opportunity to learn from one of the only in-person guided courses in the surrounding areas. It is for those that would like to be mentored directly from an experienced local practitioner and have access to that teacher for clarification and advice

Continue the journey learning herbalism with this collection of courses focused on the plants themselves. You will learn about identifying characteristics and how the knowledge of plant families can help you in determining more about the plant’s medicinal offerings. You will learn how to connect to the plant through many different types of techniques with hands-on exercises in class and be introduced to individual herbs. You will come away from this session understanding more than just “this herb for that condition or symptom” with the concept of energetics which helps the herbalist choose the right herb for an individual. With this information, the herbalist will be more proficient in healing themselves and their family.
